Inauguration of Renovated Consular Facility at the Embassy of India, Tehran

On January 5, 2011 the newly renovated Consular facility at the Embassy of India in Tehran was inaugurated at a function attended by senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of the Indian community in Iran and representatives of the India-Iran Friendship Association.

Directors at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Bani Asadi and Mr. Morteza Javdan inaugurated the facility by cutting the ribbon in the presence of H. E. Mr. Sanjay Singh, Ambassador of India. With the inauguration of the new Consular facility the revised timings for Visa and Consular Services (Sunday to Thursday) are as follows:

1. Receipt of Visa applications from individuals: 09.00 am to 12.00 noon

2. Receipt of Consular Services applications: 09.00 am to 12.00 noon

3. Receipt of Visa applications from Tour operators: 02.00 pm to 03.30pm

4. Return of passports: 04.00 pm to 05.00 pm
