Indian Cultural Centre, Tehran in collaboration with Kendriya Vidyalaya School today launched at an inaugural function Yoga Classes at the School.

 

Indian Cultural Centre, Tehran in collaboration with Kendriya Vidyalaya School today launched at an inaugural function Yoga Classes at the School.

Senior Iranian Yoga Masters, Mr. Masoud Mahdavi, President of "Kaanun-e-Yoga", Mr. Abdolhamid Movahedina’ini, President of "Daanesh-e-Yoga" and Mr. Ehsan Khazeni, Indolodgist participated in the event and addressed the gathering. Master Mohammad Amin Biglarkhwaani, an 11 years old Iranian Yoga student performed a few important Asanas.

Ambassador Saurabh Kumar delivered the inaugural address and Video clip of Prime Minister’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Yoga of September 27, 2014 was shown.

The event concluded with Mr. Alireza Boroujerdi giving a Sitar performance with Mr. Ghadir Hashemi on Tabla.

Bi-weekly Yoga classes at Kendriya Vidyalaya School would be initiated from beginning of April 2016.
